American Power & Gas,
a leading energy provider in New York and other states, donated boxes
full of supplies to help provide 50 Habitat for Humanity homes with
energy saving products and served as a platinum sponsor for the 2016 Affiliates Building Leadership and Excellence Conference.
In addition, American Power & Gas will continue fulfilling
the“100 Powered Families” campaign, which is providing energy efficient
products to Habitat for Humanity families moving into new homes in each
state the company serves.

While attending the conference, representatives from American Power
& Gas delivered 40 boxes of energy efficient goods, including Nest
Thermostats, two surge protectors with eight sockets, 16 LED lightbulbs,
and water-saving shower and sink faucets, which will be used in new
homes built by Habitat for Humanity. If properly used these supplies
should save the families approximately $500 in utility expenses each
year.
The 100 Powered Families initiative has been a point of emphasis for
the energy company in Pennsylvania and New York. Additionally, American
Power & Gas will serve as the platinum sponsor for the Habitat for
Humanity of Ohio 2016 State Conference, which will occur November 10-11.
